I just checked the Casavant-Freres website and they don't even have it on their "future projects" page... yet...   But they have all kinds of interesting projects underway, a good number of them in
China.

Had a look at the Casavant site... and they have some photos up on Picasa (linked from their homepage) and a .pdf of the spec-- looking very much a French-Romantic instrument..........

Two of three semitrailer loads of organ parts have shown up at the concert hall and installation is underway!

With two months to go before opening, Helzberg Hall resonated last week with unexpected sounds.

The clang of metal on metal. The soft whir of motorized objects. The expressive lilt of conversational French.

With eyes closed, you could almost imagine being in the middle of an ad hoc performance of "Ballet Mecanique."

With eyes open, you'd realize something much bigger was under way.

In the last few days, workers began installing the huge Casavant pipe organ, which will tower over the stage in the new concert hall at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

indicate the first three inaugural concerts are SOLD OUT... but nobody has published a review of any of the concerts which have occurred thus far... Strange.....
